SOUNDTRACK

STCover.jpg

INVERTIVERSE strives to be a unique and thrilling story. One of the ways to attempt to stand out in the crowd of science fiction adventures was to create an original orchestral score.

Featuring an approx. 80 minute album, the soundtrack to the novel is a perfect way to experience the thrills, emotion, mystery, and suspense; all without turning a single page. Some of the music is even referenced in the story itself, making it a completely complimentary experience.

Derrick Davis composed this score by recording himself "humming" nearly every track, then having it "translated" and orchestrated by another composer. The collaboration between himself and these various composers melded a unique thematic score that stands on its own.

While the album is completed, it is currently NOT available. However, the videos on this page introduce four of the many tracks from the score.

This video presents "Into The Invertiverse", a thrilling concert version of the main theme that was also recorded by a real orchestra! Watch the actual recording sessions by the 99 ORCHESTRA while hearing the final mixed and mastered cue! This special highlight of the score was made in collaboration with lead composer and author DERRICK DAVIS, additional composition and orchestration by MIKHAIL CUCUK, and mixed & edited by BERNARD KYER. Performed At Lisbon, Portugal, 2016.

This video blasts off with "RocketLodge Helix", an energetic concert version of a major theme that was also recorded by a real orchestra! Watch the actual recording sessions by MUSIVERSAL while hearing the final mixed and mastered cue! This special highlight of the score was made in collaboration with lead composer and author DERRICK DAVIS, additional composition and orchestration by MIKHAIL CUCUK, and mixed by BERNARD KYER. This video above showcases "Universal Acceptance", the propulsive and emotional concert music finale for the novel, recorded by a real orchestra! In this video for the synthetic track "Universal Horror", orchestrator and co-composer MARCOS KAISER details how it was made in collaboration with lead composer DERRICK DAVIS. The music then plays in full, giving listeners a much darker and more dramatic take on the score's central theme. Video originally created by Marcos in 2015.

There is much more to be revealed upon release of the novel itself, and from all the composers & orchestrators, including:

Derrick Davis, Mikhail Cucuk, Hollister Starrett, Cory Fujimori, Bernard A. Kyer, Marcos Kaiser, Caleb Burnett, & Luciano Giacomozzi.
